Bad Harzburg is a perfect destination for holidaymakers and day visitors throughout the year. The treetop path can be wonderfully combined with the Burgberg cable car and the tree suspension railway, the destination of which is the 1000 m long path through the treetops of the Kalten Tal.

The castle in the Harz

Falkenstein, one of the most impressive castles in the Harz, rises above the Selke. Founded in the 12th century, it has survived all the passing of time and preserved its medieval layout. Strong walls, winding gates and the large tower bear witness to the regional importance of the Counts of Falkenstein.

In just a few minutes you can get from the Imperial Palace in Goslar to Halberstadt Cathedral and Wernigerode Castle. Our traditional cable car starts in the pedestrian zone of the pretty village of Hahnenklee and takes you comfortably in colourful 4-seater gondolas to the top of the Bocksberg, where you will find the Bocksberg hut and all the attractions. The fun park with giant trampoline, slide tower, the new comet, a large children's playground and more invites you to let off steam.

The world's largest rose collection

Paradise lies in the southern Harz! The Europa-Rosarium houses the largest collection of roses in the world. 13 hectares of impressive botanical gardens offer visitors an unparalleled sea of scents and colours, a magical splendour of millions of rose blossoms surrounded by rare trees and shrubs.

You will find information boards with names and interesting facts about the plants, and we have lovingly arranged countless varieties of sage, lavender, lemon balm, mint, thyme and hyssop in the so-called plant nurseries.

Experience aviation with all senses

Barrier tape? Not here. At the Aviation Museum in Wernigerode, the whole family can get as close to the dream of flying as only pilots can. Whether it's the jet in which Prince Charles learned to fly in the Royal Air Force, the infamous starfighter or the giant Antonov: 50 aircraft and helicopters with a moving history are waiting to be admired at close quarters.

For young and old in the South Harz

The heart of our fun park is the approx. 1000 m long summer toboggan run. After getting into the toboggan and fastening your seatbelt, you will be pulled up the hill for about 250 m. Once you have reached the top, a small curve will take you down. Once you reach the top, the action-packed descent begins with a small curve.
