Rübeländer stalactite caves

Fascinating natural wonders

Our daily opening hours:

Opening hours, online tickets and prices can be found at www.harzer-hoehlen.de.

The small cave village of Rübeland is located directly on the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg. With its unique stalactite caves (Baumann's and Hermann's Caves), it has always been known far beyond the borders of Europe.

The Baumannshöhle is the oldest and most famous show cave in Germany. Since 2021, this fascinating cave world has been shining in a completely new light. The natural beauty of the stalactite formations is thus shown to advantage in a unique way.

The absolute highlight is a breathtaking show of light and sound, which can be marvelled at on the underground natural stage in the Goethesaal.

The Hermann's Cave is located about 300 metres away. With its enormous cavities and unique crystal chamber, it combines typical features of a river cave. Here, in a small cave lake, the only cave olms in Germany feel very much at home.

Our adventure kingdom offers:

  • Daily individual tours without a guide during the current opening hours.
  • Theatre performances, concerts and weddings in the Goethesaal of the Baumannshöhle in front of a fantastic natural backdrop.
  • Children's birthday parties and guided tours for groups of children
  • Company events with catering and individual offers
